Rogério Duprat has died in a São Paulo hospital aged 74. Duprat was a leading figure in the Música Popular Brasileira movement. In 1968, he wrote several arrangements for the Tropicalia album featuring Caetano Vaeloso and Gilberto Gil amongst others. His best album was A Banda Tropicalista Do Duprat also released in 1968.
