VMware Server did a great job of Windows as a guest over a Linux host. I've been using it for 2 years for my legacy Windows apps. Its old version has a very nice integrated console that occupies little screen real estate and takes few resources. VMware has decided to push us into a WebUI that there is NO demand for whether we like it or not.
